Life science-companies have one thing in common: the need for money. When looking closer into the sources whereby money is attained, a variety of financing strategies unfolds. Which is the successful choice? They can be all, as long as you are able to roll with their respective business models. In this year’s SwedenBIO Summit, we follow the money of successful life science companies to explore the strategies behind their choice of funding, be it VC, stock market, crowdfunding, or investment banking. Furthermore, what are the perks and pitfalls of the various types of funding? Find out in our first session, where we challenge high-profile financial actors to answer our member community's toughest questions.
It can be difficult to source expertise or executive competence at the moment you need it, despite the fact that the Swedish life science community, as a whole, holds a tremendous pool of proficiency and experience. And when looking at the various strategies for sourcing talent, yet another colorful array of business models emerges. There are a variety of ways of sharing experiences across the community, by engagement in each other’s companies and the use of CRO´s, consultants, and interim executives. This session explores new and clever uses of human resources, with a focus on how to level-up your business by daring to exchange the know-how.
